Wireless Alerts allow subscribers to receive updates on cell phones, pagers, PDAs, and other text-message-enabled devices.
What it Does
Wireless Alerts work alongside existing subscription functionality, allowing subscribers to choose to receive updates via their text-message-enabled devices. Administrators designate which subscription items are available as Wireless Alerts.
How it Works

- When Wireless Alerts are enabled, subscribers have the ability to designate a second email address on their profile, and select one or both addresses as "Wireless Alerts preferred."

- Subscribers simply select the items that have the Wireless Alert icon next to them to receive Wireless Alerts.
