Swine Flu Information Available in GovDelivery

Apr 27, 08:34 AM

If you haven’t seen it, Scott Burns posted a great entry on the Reach the Public blog this weekend regarding public outreach efforts flowing through GovDelivery in relation to Swine Flu.

Some suggestions for keeping your subscribers up-to-date with the latest information:

  1. Update your default email footer to highlight subscriptions you are offering, or point subscribers directly to the CDC, USA.gov, PandemicFlu.gov, or the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Concerns about food safety?  Point subscribers to the USDA and the FDA.
  2. Start networking!  GovDelivery offers a Collaboration Network that allows you to provide your subscribers with an entry point for signing up with any other GovDelivery client
  3. Offer RSS feeds- if you need a quick way to offer an RSS feed, use GovDelivery to publish stories built on the emails you send.

If you have any questions about how you can make changes to your GovDelivery account to better update and inform your subscribers about Swine Flu, please contact GovDelivery Client Services at help@govdelivery.com or phone 1-800-439-1420.
