Louisiana Department of Economic Development Partners with GovDocs

The Department of Economic Development in Louisiana (LDED) is the first department in Louisiana utilizing GovDelivery.  Within 30 days of LDED launching GovDelivery, Louisiana citizens can subscribe to over 35 types of information on the department's website.  Sample subscriptions include: the E-Newsletter, grant information, monthly and quarterly reports, and Energy/Oil & Gas updates.

REPORT: High Payoff in Electronic Government

A report released on May 12, 2003 by the General Services Administration's Office of Intergovernmental Solutions identified five common reasons governments are turning to e-Government:
